Australian music legends Wolfmother will bring their big, bold brand of rock and roll to the launch of the revolutionary new World Series Rugby tournament in Perth on Friday May 4.
The Grammy award-winning band will shake up Western Force home ground nib Stadium with hits like ‘Woman’, ‘Joker & The Thief’ and ‘Love Train’, as well as tracks from their 2016 album Victorious.
With their signature big sound, Wolfmother is made for a big stadium experience and is sure to send the Western Force stars onto the pitch with the passion and energy needed to take on their first World Series opponents – the Fiji Warriors.
Led by vocalist/guitarist Andrew Stockdale, Wolfmother will play two sets – one before kick-off and another at half time.
The Sydney rockers have amassed a global fanbase, played to massive crowds at stadiums and festivals around the world, including Coachella, Lollapalooza and Reading, and shared the stage with the legendary AC/DC.
The Wolfmother sets will be just part of the entertainment on offer at nib Stadium on May 4 and will set the tone for the following six World Series Rugby home games in Perth.
Join Wolfmother and the sea of West Australian sports fans for a Victorious rugby revolution.
It’s rugby like you’ve never seen it before.
